I'll stamp all over 'serious combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two-time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
